Gayoon wows with a chic image in ‘Fast’ magazine

 Gayoon was selected for the June edition of ‘Fast‘ style magazine.

In the pictorial Gayoon shows off her charismatic expressions and flaunted her beautiful figure, pulling off the “black chic” concept with ease.

In addition to being known for her singing ability, Gayoon’s eye for fashion has also become recognized through her airport fashion. It was reported that being the fashionista that she is, she even took part in styling her own outfit for the shoot.

Even though the shoot took place late at night, her professional behavior throughout impressed all the staff members that were present.

HyunA plans on being a more responsible adult

Twenty days prior to Coming of Age Day, HyunA revealed her plans now that she’s become a legal adult (20) in South Korea.

HyunA stated, “I want to become a more mature adult, and carry out my duties responsibly.” She went on, ”I was surprised that my parents wanted to celebrate Coming of Age day… Rather than doing things I haven’t done before, I want to focus on doing things more confidently.”

When asked if she received any gifts for Coming of Age Day, she answered, “I received flowers, perfume, and a bag from my fans.” She also added, “I want to celebrate the day with my members in a cafe.”

In related news, the girls of 4minute have wrapped up activities for their 3rd mini-album ‘Volume Up‘, and are planning to focus more on solo and overseas activities

Netizens spot a caption mistake on ’1000 Song Challenge’

Eagle-eyed netizens are at it again as they have recently spotted a caption mistake during 4minute‘s introduction on the May 20th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘1000 Song Challenge‘.

MC Lee Hwi Jae opened the program stating, “May 20th is Korea’s ‘Together Day’ (a special day that promotes peace between Koreans and foreigners living together in one place). We can now view the world as one. We can harmonize through music.”

Each cast members were then introduced along with captions of their names. However, once membersJeon Jiyoon and Kwon Sohyun of 4minute were introduced, viewers had discovered a small caption mistake on one of the members. Instead of “Kwon”, the program had aired “Park” as Sohyun’s surname.

Fans immediately left comments to grieve their complaints about the mistake saying, “They’re wearing name tags for a reason“, “I’m more surprised that this was spotted“, and more.

HyunA & Jiyoon fight during a broadcast?

A playful fight between 4minute members Jiyoon and HyunA is causing quite the stir online.

The above photos surfaced on an online community board May 18th with the caption, “HyunA and Jiyoon fighting during a broadcast.”

Thanks to the title, the post immediately began drawing hits from netizens everywhere. The photos were actually screen captures from SBS‘ ‘1000 Song Challenge‘. Both Jiyoon and HyunA take turns opening their mouths as wide as they can, and it looks as though the two were lost in a competition of their own. What made it even more hilarious was that their screen caps were being compared to a photo of two cats.

Netizens responded, “This is so hilarious,” along with, “They’re so cute,” and “I thought they fought for real!”

4minute is actively promoting their new single “Volume Up“.

Gayoon gets into mix-ups because of age?

 Gayoon expressed confidence in her bare face.

On the May 16th episode of ‘Weekly Idol‘, the members of 4minute, who are currently promoting their track “Volume Up“, appeared as guests.

On the show, the 4minute members spoke up about rumors surrounding them in a segment called “Exclusive Scoop Idol News!”. Gayoon talked about a few different situations that have arose because of her age.

In one particular story, Gayoon said, “When I first met Lizzy from After School, I called her unnie because she was taller than me. Lizzy just accepted it too.”

Gayoon mentioned that because she does not watch much TV, there are times she meets idols whose ages she’s not aware of, which leads her to call them unnie. She continued, “I think I look old, but when I take off my makeup, I look young.”

This episode of ‘Weekly Idol’ featuring 4minute aired on MBC Every1 on May 16th at 6:00pm KST.

Kim Jong Kook receives praise for using his ‘manner hands’ with HyunA

Kim Jong Kook, often known as ‘Sparta Kook’, melted the hearts of female viewers when he used his “manner hands” with 4minute‘s HyunA.

The above screen captures from the May 13th broadcast of SBS ‘Running Man‘ were recently posted on an online community bulletin with the title, “Kim Jong Kook’s manner hands“.

Kim Jong Kook was the perfect gentleman with HyunA, very considerately taking care of her while attempting to complete the missions together. In order to minimize physical contact, Jong Kook held HyunA’s wrists instead of her hands during the games, and supported her on his back with closed fists instead of wrapping his hands around her thighs.

Netizens who were touched by his chivalry remarked, “A competent person like Kim Jong Kook is definitely different“, “His consideration for girls is admirable“, and “He was born with manners“.

In previous episodes, Kim Jong Kook was also seen using “manner hands” with KARA‘s Goo Hara andT-ara‘s Jiyeon.
