Gayoon’s National Anthem, “Her Pure Voice Filled the Arena”
This past 26th, at 8PM, Gayoon sang the Korean national anthem at the beginning of the South Korea and Qatar match of the ‘2014 Brazil World Cup Asia Preliminary Matches’ that was held at the Seoul World Cup Arena.
Gayoon entered and stood in the arena dressed neatly in black, different from how she usually is on the stage. After the anthem of Qatar was performed, as the Korean flag was being raised in the back, it became Gayoon’s turn. She seemed to be a bit nervous but soon resoundingly and completely filled the arena with her pure voice.
After singing the national anthem in unison, like she was a bit shy, Gayoon lightly greeted the spectators and left to her spot. On this day, the netizens who watched the game showed various reactions “Heo Gayoon’s national anthem was different”, “she did well until the end even though she was nervous”, “I was nervous that she may make a mistake”.

4minute to Return to Their Initial Sound With Their New Album
4minute will return to the sound of their debut album.
A representative of 4minute’s agency, Cube Entertainment, has explained, “4minute recently began to record their new album. The direction of the overall concept has been decided and 4minute will show the groovy and powerful sound that they showed during their debut.”
4minute received much love through their fierce and addictive electric sound during their debut, with songs such as “Hot Issue” and “Muzik.” Through this album, 4minute will put their best face forward with a music style that they are most confident in.
The representative continued to explain, “The members have thoroughly participated in the selection of songs, choreography, styling, and more for this album. The ideas and musical inclinations of the members are expected to be incorporated as is for this comeback. The girls will show an upgraded version of their debut concept on stage. This album is also expected to include self-compositions from the members.”
4minute’s new album will be released approximately a year after their 4th mini album, “Volume Up.” 4minute also promoted through their unit 2YOON and actively promoted overseas. 4minute’s new album is expected to release some time between May and June.

Cube Entertainment artists support the ‘Nepal Hope School Project’
Labelmates B2ST, 4minute, BTOB, and Roh Ji Hoon have joined G.NA as mentors and supporters for the ‘Nepal Hope School Project‘.
The ‘Nepal Hope School Project’ is supported by Goodway With Us, which takes ideas from minors and college students, turning them into reality with help from for-profit companies and other organizations. The artists’ signed CDs and t-shirts will also be given to several lucky sponsors of this charity.
Goodway With Us stated, “The Cube Entertainment artists who encourage donations through their interest in donations for those in need will be good examples for their young fans.”
Cube Entertainment commented, “As much as the Cube Entertainment artists were able to get where they are today through the love of their fans across Asia, they were able to take part in the charity for those in need across Asia.”
Fundraising for the Goodway With Us project will run until April 15th on the ‘ucanfunding‘ page, and more information on the charity can be found at the Goodway With Us homepage as well.

2YOON, successfully concluding 5D4N Thailand promotions
Starting the 21st March onward 2YOON started their promotions by attending large-scaled press conference held in Bangkok, participating in music broadcasting programs, award ceremony, as well as shot for a photoshoot of a local magazine.
2YOON held their press conference on the 21st in a hotel in Bangkok with 170 news outlet. The local media expressed their interest for 2YOON’s music as well as asking questions regarding their promotion activities in Thailand.
On this day, 2YOON made their way to the purple carpet of large-scaled award ceremony ’2013 Nine Entertain Awards’. 2YOON wore classic and patterned couple dress as they walked down the purple carpet, flaunting their fashionista sides.
On the 23rd, 2YOON participated for ‘Channel 7 Live Music Show’ and met up with fans. The famous program once had Ricky Martin, Scorpions and many more artists as guests before. On that very day, 2YOON performed a live act, receiving loud cheers from around 1000 fans as they concluded the show with ‘Why Not’ and ’24/7′.
2YOON’s 5 days 4 nights of promotion in Thailand showed great success. They have returned to Korea on the 24th and will be focusing on their comeback preparations for 4minute’s new album.

Q: This time round, only the 2 of you came. Don’t you feel a bit lonely without the rest of the group?Gayoon: I feel both lonely and missing them already. Two days ago we were just here together for a concert!

Q: For this album, Harvest Moon, did you get involved in the making?Gayoon: 24/7 is so meaningful. We both got involved in almost everything from the producing to styling.
Q: With this country/pop genre, does it make it more challenging?Jiyoon: Well I guess the challenge is that it is a new genre so it’s quite different than the usual. We’re a bit worried about the feedback so please support us.
Q: What’s the difference between working as a unit with only 2 members and working as a team of 4MINUTE?Gayoon: When we’re all together, we’re tough and fierce but with only the two of us, everything’s been toned down.
Q: In your music video, there are animals like chicks and a pig. How was the filming? Any challenges?Jiyoon: Filming with animals was quite exhausting. Pigs are easily scared and jumpy. Chicks are typically easy to control but during the filming, one of the chicks pooped on Gayoon and the smell was no joke!
Q: Also, there were BTOB and Kim Kiri… How was that?Gayoon: They were so funny. We laughed throughout the filming.
Q: Your dance, it can decrease belly fat, I heard! Could you please show us?(2YOON get on their feet and show their dance steps.)
Q: You have been receiving positive feedback since your debut, how does that feel?Jiyoon: Yes, it has been great! I heard people use our dance as part of aerobic dance routine too!
Q: How do you feel to be the first girl group featured on TIME? Gayoon: We’re so happy and proud to know that the Hallyu Wave is still big and strong.
Q: Any advice from 4MINUTE?Jiyoon: Our members give us lots of support. They all know that we’re very close to each other. Sohyun also helps to promote by posting supporting messages and photos.
Q: Both of you have such great figures. How do you maintain your health and figure?Gayoon: Two days ago we performed here in Thailand and we met lots of Thai people and they all look fabulous so I won’t dare.
Q: Jiyoon, I heard you flew to LA to meet with well-known producers. Is there a hidden plan?Jiyoon: Let’s keep it a secret for now but yes I met with David. We’re working on something so please look forward to it.
Q: Other than 4MINUTE, is there anyone in your agency with you’re close to?Gayoon: We’re close to everyone but recently we’ve become very close to BTOB. We went to Japan together, went out to eat and discussed our work.
Q: If you were to choose a member from either BTOB or BEAST to work with, who would it be?Gayoon: It’d be Yoseob because he’s a talented singer and should get along well with us.
Q: Is Thailand warm?Gayoon: YES!! (Laughs)
Q: How do you cool off?Jiyoon: Let me tell you how. Go home, put on our music and dance. (smiles)

4minute, B2ST and G.Na Welcome M4M to Cube
The stars of Cube Entertainment welcomed the debut of M4M.
4minute, B2ST′s Lee Gi Kwang and G.Na congratulated the group in a video aired at its debut showcase on March 13.4minute′s Heo Ga Yoon said, “We′re also much loved in China, and we′re very expectant of M4M′s debut in China,” while Hyuna added, “We hope M4M becomes successful and joins us in promotions.”
G.Na showed she related to how the members had to leave their home country to train in Korea.
“Congratulations on making it through the difficulties of living in Korea. I′ve often talked with Jimmy and he′s confided in me, and I′m touched at seeing him debut like this. I hope you become number one in Greater China,” she said.”
B2ST′s Lee Gi Kwang then said, “The members are all tall and good looking, and they can definitely sing and dance. They have so many talents. They′ll live up to expectations, as they′ve been chosen after getting through some fierce competition.”
The showcase was hosted by BTOB members Lee Min Hyuk and Lim Hyun Sik. M4M sang its debut single Sadness as well as other tracks from its debut album.
M4M stands for Mystery ForMula, and is meant to express how each member acts like a part of a formula with his individual charms.
Cube Entertainment and China′s Xing Tian have been collaborating for about four years for the Asia project group. Jimmy and Bin are from Hong Kong, Vinson is from Taiwan and Alen is from China.
