Did Hyuna lip-sync during the KBS ‘Music Festival?’
Hyuna is currently in a lip-syncing controversy.
She performed with Beast’s Hyunseung for the song ‘Trouble Maker’ at the KBS ‘Music Festival’ that was broadcast live on the 28th. During this performance Hyuna and Hyunseung gave a cool dance performance but there was a difference in their singing quality. Hyunseung gave a type of singing performance in which it was obvious that it was live and had a clear voice with high quality. Hyuna, on the other hand, was very quiet in her singing compared to him. The viewers commented that “Hyunseung is singing so hard and the fact that Hyuna could barely be heard lowered the quality of the performance.” The viewers commented that Hyuna must have been lip-syncing.
Cube Entertainment responded to the ongoing discussions about Hyuna that was taking place online by saying “The performance on the 28th had the AR instrumental on low for the sake of quality of the performance and the performance was live” and “However, the sound between the two was very different. Hyunseung was holding a hand mic and so his voice was well heard but Hyuna had sound problems so her voice was not heard clearly” and clarified the situation. They also stated, “If she was lip-syncing then her voice would have been heard a lot clearer.”
Hyuna has previously been involved in a lip-syncing controversy. She surprised the audience during a comeback performance of 4Minute’s ‘Volume Up’ in which she was dancing but was not moving her mouth during her part.

‘The Romantic’ Park Hyungsik-Nam JiHyun, Despite Knowing the Ending, Fluttering Final Couple ‘Sweet’
Despite knowing how it would turn out, Park Hyungsik and Nam JiHyun has confirmed each others’ heart, and has became a final couple.
On the December 30th episode of tvN ‘The Romantic and Idol’ 9th episode [A typo here, I guess. It should be 8th episode], the entangled love lines of the Romanticists are finally revealed.
Among all other idols, Park Hyungsik and Nam JiHyun were already an official couple. They met since from the first, and is undoubtedly going to be the ultimate pair again.
Nam JiHyun waited for Park Hyungsik, “Hyungsikie’s legs are long, he should have come earlier… Why does it take this long?” while showing an excited look. In the end, Park Hyungsik stood in front of Nam JiHyun. Both of them confirmed their hearts with a sweet hug.
Soon after, they held hands. Hyungsik, who was worried about Nam JiHyun, asked “Why did you come out with such thin clothes?”, and Nam JiHyun replied, “Because I know you would take your jacket off and give it to me”. Though wearing a short-sleeved shirt, Park Hyungsik took off his jacket, and covered over Nam JiHyun.

Ssangyoon, “Rather than completely getting rid of sexy, we aim to show you our hidden charms”
Gayoon and Jiyoon return to the music scene as the sub-unit Ssangyoon.
Sexy group 4Minute has received much love through their “Volume Up” promotions. As the group is currently inactive, the members have been focusing on individual activities and it is naturally that the long-awaited 4Minute sub-unit comprised of Jiyoon and Gayoon is to debut soon. The duo’s name, “Ssangyoon” or “2Yoon” is derived from members Gayoon and Jiyoon’s name and means “twins yoon.”
Cube Entertainment stated, “Gayoon and Jiyoon stand out, through their personalities and their individuality as artists as the main and lead vocalists and rapper of 4Minute. We based the concept on their personalities. Leaving aside the fierce, intense and sexy concept, and focusing on upbeat dance tracks and ballads, we plan on experimenting a lot of different styles.”
A representative of the agency then added, “Rather than completely getting rid of the sexy concept, we aim to show you their most hidden charms.”
Meanwhile, Ssangyoon is scheduled to debut on the second week of January.

GAYOON AND JIYOON TO FORM PROJECT GROUP “DOUBLE YOON”
Gayoon and Jiyoon will form project group “Double Yoon” and are planning to make their new debut this January.
On December 26, a representative from Cube Entertainment stated, “Gayoon and Jiyoon will release a duet album as Double Yoon. They have finished with the recording and music video filming and the album is currently in its final stages.”
The duet album will contain songs that will highlight their singing and rapping talents. It will include dance and ballad songs different from their 4minute’s flavor.
4minute’s HyunA and Beast’s Hyunseung formed project group Trouble Maker last December and their collaboration became a big hit. Many fans are highly anticipating Double Yoon’s entrance into the music scene and industry insiders are curious to see if they will create a sensation similar to Trouble Maker.
A representative from their agency explained, “Just like HyunA and Hyunseung, these girls will show a different music color. Double Yoon will start promoting on television starting next month.”

Sohyun Chosen as Special MC for MBC Weekly Idol
Sohyun has been chosen as special MC for MBC Weekly Idol’s “2nd Weekly Idol Awards.”
Special MC Sohyun stepped into her mood maker role perfectly. The recording of the episode smoothly proceeded in a warm and cheerful atmosphere, showing the strong friendship between Sohyun, Jung Hyung Don and Defcon.
MC Jung Hyung Don said about Sohyun, “She looks more and more natural in front of the camera as time goes by. I wish she’d become a fixed host.”
Sohyun’s special episode as an MC will air on December 26 at 6PM.
SBS Gayo Daejun “The Color of Kpop,” to Digitally Release Songs
Prior to the 2012 SBS Gayo Daejun “The Color of Kpop,” the four project groups comprised of idol group members will release title tracks which proceeds will be donated to “Hope TV SBS’s Dream Orchestra” a charity program to provide music instruments to children.
Hit makers Shinsadong Tiger, Brave Brothers, Sweetune and Kim Do Hoon were entrusted with the task of producing fresh and fun numbers, raising the interest of the public.
Meanwhile, Mystic White (Gayoon) and Dramatic Blue’s title songs will be unveiled on December 26, while Dazzling Red (Hyun Ah) and Dynamic Black’s are scheduled for release on digital music portals on December 27.

Sohyun says 4minute have pretty noses
Sohyun just found out that her unnis have pretty noses.
She tweeted on the 22nd, “My unnis monitoring themselves. Hehe. I found out today that they have pretty noses. Keke. 4minute members have pretty noses. Ke. Puhaha. @^^@.”
The oldest unni Jihyun responded, “Ah-ing…! Keke.”

"THE ROMANTIC’ NAM JIHYUN, ANSWERS TO HYUNGSIK’S SUDDEN PROPOSAL, “TO BE AN OFFICIAL COUPLE”
Nam JiHyun has accepted Hyungsik’s proposal.
On the 16th December broadcast of ‘The Romantic’, Nam JiHyun has prepared a song for a preference shuffle date, and she had chosen ZE:A’S ‘Aftermath’.
She revealed the reason to this song choice, “I chose this song so that we could become from a half-official couple to a full-official couple”.
However, as Hyungsik listens to ‘Aftermath’, he went into a panic mode. Hyungsik was seen frustrating, “What’s this? This is so obvious”, and tried to figure out who’s the one who chose this song.
Followed this, Mir and JB were seen shouting, “Hyungsik-ah, What are you doing still staying in here?” urging Hyungsik to meet his date.
From the beginning till the end, Hyungsik were dancing to ‘Aftermath’s choreography, but couldn’t make up his mind whether to go out or not. At the very end, it was revealed that Hyungsik rose from his seat, and went outside, smiling while looking at Nam JiHyun.
Hyungsik danced under the moonlight. Nam JiHyun asked, “Why did you take this long to come out!”, throwing a feat. Hyungsik looked at her with a loving gaze, “I was thinking who was this obvious, so it was nuna”.

Hyungsik, ‘Pairing up with JiHyun Noona for 3 times, Menbong” / JiHyun, “Hyungik’s backhug…Felt like he’s a man”
ZE:A’s Park Hyungsik (21) and 4minute’s Nam JiHyun (22) appeared on tvN’s ‘The Romantic and Idol’. With ‘a real honest and plain love story by idols’ as slogan, 8 idols took off searching for real love, has attracted attention. As ‘Reply 1997′ PD was involved in this program, it has further gained attention.
Park Hyungsik and Nam JiHyun were among the 8 who appeared on this program, and was the couple where their minds connect the most. As dates are paired based on their personal preference, both of them often meet during ‘Preference Shuffle’.
Park Hyungsik expressed, “Having the same preference as Jihyunie nuna was absolutely surreal,” having themselves amazed as well.
To receive such casting offer from their agency, he was worried if fans might leave. But he board the plane to Jeju Island with a ‘holiday’ heart. But it hit back hard into his head instead.
“I thought of it as work whenever there are cameras. I tried to find the best angle so that I would look good during broadcast, I’m not sure when, but since then, I’ve started not worrying about them (cameras) anymore. I have completely forgotten about the cameras. While being around with JiHyunie noona, some feelings have grown. It was indeed ‘mental breakdown’ “
While enjoying this loving relationship, he couldn’t forget about his peers. Since becoming a trainee in middle school, until enrolling into university, he has not been to a warm MT before.
“If I’d to go on MT, I think it would be like this. I’ve never been anywhere with them before, so it (must be) exciting. Although we do asked about it in group chattings through phone, if there’s any chance, I would really like to go with them. I hope we can enjoy in our age.”
Following along was female viewers’ hot response. Hyungsik continued, “There are people who do not pay attention to idols, remembered me, I was really shocked. I never thought it would receive such ‘hot’ responses, so I’m happy about it,” laughing as he says.
Nam JiHyun too, commented, “I was in a mental breakdown too. I heard many things about me and Hyungsik dating,” as she laughs.
In fact, Nam JiHyun weren’t fond of dating those who are younger age. When she first met Hyungsik, she sees him as a younger brother. Nam JiHyun even once said, “Since I’m your noona, I will drop my formalities”. She expressed, “I never felt that he was younger. I felt that he’s mature. I thought to myself, this is how it feels, dating younger guys”
Park Hyungsik’s backhug was the one that put an end to it.
“My last boyfriend was during my 3rd year in high school. As Hyungsik was standing behind me, and was about to perform the back hug, I felt an excited feeling which I have not felt for 4 years. Even when I watch the broadcast, I was really trembling. Meanwhile, I was worried if I would hurt the team.”
It was Nam JiHyun’s first to go on a travel with guys. And because of that, it’s not easy to leave this ‘aftermath’.
“Feelings that I can’t get during promotions, I’ve enjoyed like a ‘University Nam JiHyun’ feels. It was a dream-like moment of course. I want to show this energy often in 4minute and Nam JiHyun in the coming year.”

On the episode of tvN’s The Romantic & Idol that will air on December 16, Hyung Sik has a date with Ji Hyun for the third time and says, “Let’s get married if we become a virtual couple again.”
Hyung Sik and Ji Hyun show affection to each other by taking care of each other at a dinner with all the cast of the show.
At the dinner, Ji Hyun asks Hyung Sik, “Do you think it’s ridiculous if we become a virtual couple again?” and Hyung Sik surprises everyone by saying, “Let’s get married if we become a virtual couple again.”

4minute cry during Jiyoon's Musical
JiYoon who had her first musical challenge has expressed her affection towards 4minute members.
During a press call on the 13th,JiYoon revealed, “4minute members came to watch my performance”.
On this day, with her rich singing skills and dazzling performance, she has transformed naturally into BokHee. Jeon JiYoon said, “4minute members came for my afternoon performance. Since it was my first stage, it seems like there were lots that I couldn’t do, so I’m regretful. The evening session seems better…” while laughing.
She followed, “During the day, I was really nervous, so I regretted. I heard that the members cried as they were moved by the performance. They said they liked it overall. In particular, during my angry acting scene, they were flaring up as well,” expressing thanks to her members.
Towards her character in the musical, “I performed a JiYoonie-like BokHee. Actually, I had to act it femininely but it wasn’t. Since it was a double casting, I wanted to show my style of BokHee.”
JiYoon has also expressed her thoughts after her musical stage. She smiled while revealed, “It’s my first time standing on a musical stage. I don’t even remember how I did it”.
She said confidently, “Musical singing skills and entertainment singing skills are totally different. I tried to show my colors in this musical although it was hard

Trouble Maker really the Issue makers
We cannot leave out the hot performance that was the subject of conversation that came from the couple performance of ‘Trouble Maker’ by Hyuna and Hyunseung at the 2012 MAMA. They were still the topic of conversation after their skinship filled performance and they were still the topic of curiosity behind the scenes.
The two also captured attention during the preview for Mnet’s ‘Wide Celebrity News’ that is going to share all the behind stories when it airs on the 6th at 5 p.m. On this broadcast there will be a section called ‘MAMA X Files- The never ending story’ (Directed by Jun, Soo Yeon) and will show the behind the stage actions of Hyuna and Hyunseung, who were named best performance of the MAMA, without filtration.
They showed the two right before their performance during the preview. They were holding hands tightly in order to have a sense of mutual understanding and they were also shown drinking water together to relieve their stress. The two had the warmth that showed that they were deserving of the best collaboration award.
However, they truly shined on the stage compared to anywhere else. They had an extremely sexy performance like they last year that brought enthusiasm not just to the audience but also the the fellow artists who were there.
The broadcast will also have a time to break down the fashions of the red carpet during ‘Celebrity style’ and will even introduce the celebs involved in the MAMA such as Song Joong Ki and Han Chae Young in a corner called ‘Winner’. This show will also break down the background stories of the 2012 MAMA.
