Jihyun was most shocked by comments that called her ugly

Jihyun revealed that out of all the hate comments that she'd gotten, there was one kind that caught her off-guard the most.

4minute were guests on tvN's 'Baek Ji Yeon's People Inside', and Jihyun talked about her role in dramas. At first, she explained, "I decided to act because of my label's suggestion, and I became interested." However, one thing that shocked her after her drama appearances were the kinds of hate comments!

She said, "I heard a lot of things after my drama, but I was surprised the most by the ones calling me ugly. I've never been called ugly since I was born. When I heard that, I looked in the mirror. I went to the bathroom and thought, 'I guess I'm ugly. You can see it that way'."

4nia know that Jihyun is actually the opposite of ugly, so she doesn't have to worry!

4minute reveals the sad life of an idol, Hyuna reveals complexity

4minute has recently revealed the life of an idol in South Korea.

On the broadcast of ‘Baek JiYeon’s People Inside’ that was aired on 29th May, when asked if there’s any common perception on idols, 4minute replied, “It’s sad”.

4minute’s maknae Kwon SoHyun expressed, “The similar experience faced by idols, are that they received more love from the public or students too early. So, they have lost their childhood even when they’re young”.

She continued, “I’m one of those who have lost much of my childhood. I wasn’t able to feel what my friends feel” and, “I first learned about the relationship between adults and how the society works.”

Also, “I couldn’t go on trips with friends, rather than returning home after school and think about what to eat, I would go for practice instead”, expressing her sadness.

Jeon Jiyoon explained, “When we chat with friends, our talking topic is so different, and that I felt that I and my friends think very much different” and, “At these times, I felt like I was having a meeting. Since our frustrations are so different, I feel hurt.”

Meanwhile, Hyuna has confessed about her complexities.

Hyuna’s complexities are revealed to be 3 things, which are alcohol, cheekbones and her voice. Regarding her cheekbones, Hyuna revealed that she looks like she’s smiling diagonally whenever she’s in front of the camera. Also, she expressed, “It seems nice to drink, but the fact is, I really can’t deal with alcohol well. My face will turn red even with one glass of alcohol, and the members will tease me a lot about it.”

Hyuna continued, “There’s nothing elegant about my voice, and it sounded like woodpecker, so it’s one of my complex. When I go outside, people who don’t know me, will recognize immediately because of my voice”, and also confessing that she likes Baek JiYeon’s deep voice.

4minute also revealed that, “We don’t have many close celebrity friends”, and caused surprise on set. 4minute said that they have a shy personality and that they only mingle around the members. Also, 4minute also revealed to have challenged their very own fan cafe level up questions before.

4minute member to appear in M4M ‘When You Leave Me’ MV

Debuted for just a short two months period, China-Korea collaborated all-Chinese male group M4M has attracted attention both in Korea and China with their debut song ‘Sadness’, as the number of fans increases at a quick pace.

Recently in Asia idol industry, many idols are formed with different nationalities. Although M4M members were trained in Korea, all four members are actually of Chinese blood. Their first mini album ‘Mystic Formula’ included Korean version of ‘Sadness’ as well as five additional tracks. The album received praises for its exceptional composing and melody, as well as Chinese lyrics added to a KPOP-styled song.

It was reported that the only slow song in the album, ‘When You Leave Me’ (direct translation from ‘当你离开我’) has received recognition from the industry. And because of that, M4M agency XingTian Entertainment will be adding a budget to shoot for a new MV for this song. The MV shoot will still be undertaken by Cube Entertainment in Korea. According to a source, the female lead for this MV will be a member of Cube’s popular girl group 4minute. However, no further details on that particular 4minute member were disclosed. The agency intends to embark on a mysterious route, where everything is kept secret for the time being. That said, they hope that fans will anticipate the upcoming MV!

Hyuna was hospitalized on May 6 due to a high fever.

CUBE announced, “HyunA collapsed due to a high fever before her activities, so she is in the hospital. It looks like a high fever and dehydration case because of overworking.
